Emma Hall is a reporting intern for The Chronicle. She specializes in diversity, equity, and inclusion, race and ethnicity, tribal colleges, and community colleges.
Hall recently graduated from California State University at Sacramento with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She previously served as a diverse-sources intern at NPR and as a news editor at The State Hornet, the student-run newspaper at her alma mater. Hall’s work has been featured in NPR’s Next Generation Radio Indigenous, CalMatters, and Politico. She is also a proud community-college graduate.
